One of Itachi’s Most Iconic Lines in Naruto Foreshadows Kawaki’s Downfall in Boruto

Ever since Eida used her omnipotence to switch Boruto Uzumaki’s role with Kawaki, his life has been completely turned upside down. As a result, the son of the Seventh Hokage has been forced to live on the run, as he has lost most of the people who were previously a part of his life.

Despite previous struggles, Boruto appears to be making progress in the ongoing Two Blue Vortex manga with each new chapter. Eida’s ability to alter reality may have indirectly changed the fates of both Kawaki and Naruto Uzumaki’s son. This foreshadows potential downfall for Kawaki, as hinted by Itachi Uchiha’s iconic line in Naruto: Shippuden.

Connection Between Boruto Two Blue Vortex and Itachi’s Advice for Naruto Predicted Kawaki’s Downfall

Throughout the entirety of the Boruto series, Kawaki has consistently made poor choices that ultimately resulted in him betraying those whom he once held dear.

Additionally, his intense love and dedication towards Naruto led to a significant shift in his logical thinking and decision-making. He believed that the best way to safeguard his adoptive parents was to seal them away in a different realm, while also orchestrating a false accusation against his adoptive brother for the assassination of the Seventh Hokage.

Despite low expectations for Kawaki’s moral development in the Two Blue Vortex series, fans had hoped that he would at least focus on training and improving his strength, as well as becoming more strategic in his decision-making. However, it is disappointing to see that Kawaki’s character has continued to decline throughout the ongoing series. His arrogance not only hinders his own progress, but also negatively impacts those around him.

Similarly, in the Two Blue Vortex series, Boruto’s character seems to be following a similar path as Kawaki’s character in the first part of the sequel series. Although they are currently at different ends of the spectrum, it is highly probable that their roles will switch soon, as Kawaki’s downfall appears to be inevitable.

Despite being a major character in Two Blue Vortex, Kawaki’s lack of training is a major flaw. He failed to prepare himself for opponents like Code or his adoptive brother Boruto. At the very least, Kawaki should have trained enough to keep up with his sibling, if not surpass him.

However, this prediction did not come to fruition. Mitsuki confirmed that Kawaki was significantly weaker than Boruto and he was easily defeated by the latter during their confrontation.

Another factor that may put Kawaki’s current position at risk is the gradual realization of his omnipotence among the people. It is highly probable that characters such as Himawari, Team 10, and even Konohamaru will eventually uncover the truth.

Moreover, Kawaki’s mishandling of Code’s invasion caused many to doubt him, especially since his interference resulted in Code’s escape from the Hidden Leaf Village.

Ultimately, despite Eida’s efforts to save him, Kawaki failed to show any gratitude towards her and neglected to return her affections. This may lead to a situation where, like Code, Eida decides to leave Kawaki and turn her attention to Boruto instead.

Kawaki’s failure to show any concern for his greatest ally, instead choosing to focus solely on Naruto, ultimately resulted in losing her despite having the opportunity to keep her by his side.

Additionally, there is a strong potential for Mitsuki to eventually align himself with Boruto in the future. This is largely due to Boruto’s willingness to actively listen and understand Mitsuki, a quality that Kawaki has never shown. It is probable that Kawaki will gradually lose the trust and support of his comrades, as they begin to uncover the truth, ultimately leaving him with no allies.

One intriguing aspect of this situation is that Itachi Uchiha had actually hinted at it in his renowned speech to Naruto in the Shippuden series. When Naruto confidently proclaimed that he would single-handedly end the Fourth Great Ninja War without any assistance, Itachi reminded him that he had reached his current position with the support and loyalty of numerous individuals.

One of Itachi’s most memorable lines was when he told Naruto to always remember his friends and that he could only become Hokage if he was acknowledged by his people. This advice deeply resonated with Naruto, and with the support of his people, he went on to become one of Konoha’s greatest Hokage. On the other hand, Kawaki’s arrogance leads him to push people away, and he will likely end up losing everything as a result.
