One Piece episode 1108 review: A Traitor Among the Vegapunks Commands the Seraphim, While Sentomaru Fears Another Ohara

This episode showcases a new battle at Labophase, where the Seraphim are shown to be in a state of turmoil. It is speculated that they may be acting under the direction of a nefarious mastermind.

In the 1108th episode of One Piece, viewers witnessed S-Snake utilizing her Love-Love Mellow ability to petrify York. She then proceeded towards Lilith’s group despite being commanded to stop. Despite Franky’s eagerness to fight her, Lilith was hesitant as she knew that the Seraphim were the most powerful beings among humans.

At another location, Zoro was confronted by S-Bear and S-Hawk, seemingly attacking him. But he soon realized that they were not just after him, as S-Hawk also targeted the unconscious Lucci and Kaku. Despite Shaka’s attempt to intervene, the Seraphim were not stopped.

Shaka’s conclusion was that one of the Vegapunks was giving orders to the others, which would explain the communication and visual malfunctions, as well as the fact that they were stuck in Labophase due to the frontier dome defense system. It was evident that someone was trying to eradicate them.

After coming to, Lucci and Kaku suggested a temporary ceasefire. They wished to aid in the battle against Seraphim, but were surprised by the disgusted looks on Luffy and Zoro’s faces.

Initially, they had suspected Vegapunk, but their assumption proved false when they saw Vegapunk himself in handcuffs before them. Vegapunk pondered if his studies on Ponegliffs had been revealed to the World Government. Meanwhile, more than one hundred ships of different sizes were currently en route to Egghead.

While taking a break at a factory in Fabiriophase, Sentomaru implored everyone to evacuate the island. He described the tragic fate of Ohara, where the entire population was eradicated by the World Government as punishment for their rebellion.

Sentomaru feared that a catastrophe even worse than the one at Ohara was on the horizon for Egghead.

Despite their childlike appearance, the Seraphim are portrayed as incredibly menacing in the episode. The situation has become dire as one of the Vegapunks has defected and may be collaborating with the World Government to further their goals at Egghead.

It is crucial for the Straw Hats to find the scientist and leave Egghead as soon as possible. Nonetheless, a significant part of the audience’s excitement lies in discovering the World Government’s scheme and the potential repercussions if the Straw Hats do not escape before their arrival. To uncover the truth, viewers will have to patiently wait for the upcoming episodes.
