Following the first season’s success, Netflix’s One Piece Live Action is preparing to debut its second season in 2025. The live-action version of Elichiro Oda’s beloved manga, One Piece, was met with positive reception, and Netflix has officially revealed the release period for the upcoming season.

The production for the second season of One Piece Live Action is set to commence in June 2024 in Cape Town, South Africa. It is rumored that the show will premiere in late summer 2025 and will continue the story from where the first season left off.

According to Tracz, who has previously worked on A Series of Unfortunate Events, he considers himself fortunate to have had the opportunity to work on multiple highly anticipated series adaptations. However, he believes that none compare to the scale and adoration of One Piece. Tracz also expresses his admiration for Oda-san’s exceptional creativity and praises the live-action team for their impressive work in Season 1. He is thrilled to join the Going Merry as it embarks on its journey through the Grand Line for what he believes will be an even more monumental Season 2.
