The purported spoilers for Chapter 158 of Oshi no Ko began with Fuyuko Niino attending B-Komachi’s live concert in Miyazaki. As she watched the performance, she couldn’t help but feel anxious at the thought of Ruby Hoshino potentially surpassing her own mother, Ai, as an idol.

“Who was it that said, ‘Even if it’s her daughter, I will never forgive anyone who surpasses Ai’s existence?’

Despite reports stating that Ruby inherited Ai’s genes and had a tragic past, her eyes were filled with the purest radiance.

In chapter 158 of Oshi no Ko, spoilers were shared about Ruby Hoshino and Akane Kurokawa. Ruby inquired why Akane had attended the Miyazaki performance when they also had a live show planned in Tokyo. Akane explained that she had some business in Miyazaki, so she decided to drop by. She also mentioned that she might not be able to make it to the Tokyo performance due to prior commitments.

At that moment, Ruby suddenly recalled that the Tokyo performance fell on Christmas Day. This made her wonder if Akane had started dating someone new and had plans with him. However, that was not the truth.

Immediately after, Ruby inquired if Akane would like her to invite senpai (Kana Arima) over. Nevertheless, Akane declined, explaining that she did not share the same perspective as Kana being an idol. While it was enjoyable to see Kana dressed adorably as an idol, Akane struggled to fully accept her in that role. Nonetheless, Akane admired Kana’s dedication to embracing her identity as an idol until the very end.

Despite their differences, Akane acknowledged that Kana was a dazzling idol. However, her talents were not being fully utilized in the world of acting, where she had the potential to shine like the sun. Although she couldn’t compare to Ruby Hoshino on stage, Kana’s primary goal as an idol was to gain a larger fanbase, which she was successfully achieving.

Despite this, there are still those who harbor resentment towards Ruby and hope for her downfall. In the latest chapter of Oshi no Ko, number 158, spoilers revealed Ruby’s perspective on the life of an idol. She emphasizes that no matter how much effort is put in, being an idol is not a job that can be sustained for a lifetime. The industry’s expectations and pressures are as unforgiving as a flower that blooms only once, rather than a precious gem that glimmers endlessly. This is why idols strive to leave a lasting impression on their fans, even after they pass away.

During their conversation, Kamiki suggested turning themselves in to the police and confessing their crimes, possibly in hopes of receiving forgiveness. However, Niino was not yet prepared for such a drastic decision.

Right after, Niino began to accuse Ai Hoshino, believing that she must always be the greatest idol and that no one should be able to surpass her.
