Overlooked MW2 Weapon Dominates Warzone with Lightning-Fast Time-to-Kill

In the diverse arsenal of Call of Duty, there exists a legendary assault rifle that boasts one of the top time-to-kill (TTK) statistics in Warzone, yet is currently being significantly ignored by gamers.

While anticipation builds around Black Ops 6, the shifting dynamics of the Warzone meta can still evolve even as we near the conclusion of Modern Warfare 3’s lifespan. Although we aren’t expecting any major updates to transform the gameplay dramatically, there have been some subtle adjustments occurring within the community.

The current meta remains largely influenced by MW3 weaponry, but surprisingly, arms from Modern Warfare 2 are also making a strong showing.

Recently, the Rapp H has been acknowledged for its impressive TTK, but it isn’t the only standout. The M16 has also been spotlighted by Warzone expert WhosImmortal, who asserts that the “M16 meta is thriving”at the moment.

He mentioned in his video released on October 6, “In its standard form, the M16 might rank among the least effective weapons in the game. However, equipping the JAK Patriot Conversion Kit transforms its performance completely.”

According to analysis from TrueGameData, this YouTuber found that its TTK stands around 721 milliseconds within encounters at ranges up to 36 meters, outperforming the more favored BP50, MTZ 556, and SVA 545 – all of which are commonly utilized alternatives.

  • Muzzle: Quartermaster Suppressor
  • Underbarrel: Paracord Grip
  • Conversion Kit: JAK Patriot
  • Ammunition: 5.56 NATO High Grain
  • Magazine: 60-round mag

WhosImmortal emphasized the necessity of applying MW3 attachments to fully leverage the M16’s capabilities, stating that once optimized, it becomes “an outstanding selection.”

Additionally, this impressive TTK can be effectively extended to approximately 60 meters, which is a significant advantage.

As per data from WZRanked, the MW2 assault rifle currently ranks as the 38th most utilized weapon in the battle royale scene, a position that undoubtedly doesn’t do justice to its potential.
