Alec Dawson, the associate game director, reassured that character accessibility remains unchanged, regardless of the storyline’s developments.

“There are no plans to remove any characters from the roster based on narrative events, ” Dawson stated in a recent interview with GameSpot. He noted, however, that the game intends for its maps and heroes to mirror the ongoing narrative context.
