Paris Hilton uploaded and later removed a TikTok video that quickly became popular among fans who noticed she had installed her children’s car seats incorrectly.
Paris Hilton, a reality TV entrepreneur, caused worry after sharing a now-deleted TikTok video where she incorrectly installed car seats in her car.
On Monday, Paris uploaded a video to TikTok which was later shared by Daily Mail. The video shows Paris zooming in closely on her two children, Phoenix (1) and London (6 months), sparking safety concerns about the car seats they were in.
Despite the peaceful appearance of her kids in their car seats, fans couldn’t help but notice that she had installed them incorrectly.
Paris decided to turn the car seats towards the front instead of facing them towards the back of the vehicle. Despite instructions being printed on the seats in situations like this, viewers were unimpressed.
@dailymailshowbiz Paris Hilton’s new video showing her kids in their car seats in her new mom van sparked a discussion about child safety among fans. The socialite posted a clip of her infant daughter London and son Phoenix buckled into their car seats – but fans quickly flooded the comments with concerns about how the car seats were installed, noting that the infant and toddler were sitting in forward-facing seats. 🎥 Paris Hilton #parishilton #celebrity #entertainment #children #safety #news ♬ original sound – Daily Mail Celeb
“One viewer was alarmed as they noticed the words ‘rear-facing’ printed on the sides of the seats, exclaiming, “Oh my goodness, it’s rear-facing!”
Another person commented that it was frustrating because she has ample resources to ensure that these are installed correctly.
“How could this be? There is absolutely no excuse for compromising child safety. Contact your local FD or PD for assistance in properly setting them up. These are not installed correctly,”another person exclaimed.
Despite her status, one viewer pointed out that the reality star seemed to face no consequences for her actions. They added that if any other mother had posted a similar video, they would likely be reported to child protective services.
Despite not addressing the debacle publicly, Paris deleted her initial TikTok of the scenario, most likely due to the ongoing flood of negative comments on the post.
On Monday, in addition to her viral car seat moment, Paris Hilton also made another announcement on Instagram. She revealed that she and Nicole Richie will be teaming up once again for a reality TV series, similar to their popular show The Simple Life from 2003.
The media tycoon shared a brief clip of herself and Nicole with the caption, “New era, but our friendship remains strong. Stay tuned for our appearance on peacock.”
Despite the lack of details about their new show, fans were still enthusiastic about showing their support. Many expressed their belief that Paris and Nicole’s return to reality television would be nothing short of “iconic.”
