In response to the announcement of Park Ji-won’s resignation as CEO of HYBE, an official from the company stated on July 24th that no decisions have been made at this time.
Money Today had previously reported on the same day that CEO Park Ji-won, who had been with HYBE since leaving Nexon four years ago, will be stepping down from his position. According to the media outlet, CEO Park had revealed his future plans after successfully securing external investment for one of HYBE’s sub-labels.
In 2014, CEO Park Ji-won took on the role of CEO at Nexon Korea. In 2018, he was appointed as the global COO of Nexon and in May 2020, he joined HYBE.
