For those hoping for a romantic relationship between Micah and Izzy in Perfect Match Season 2, it’s best not to get your hopes up.
The main objective of Perfect Match is to unite a group of reality TV stars with the goal of fostering romantic connections between them.
Although they have all previously seen each other on-screen, this has helped to ease any initial awkwardness. However, face-to-face interactions are essential for building any relationship. After witnessing the first conversation between Izzy Zapata and Micah Lussier, it seems that their relationship may not be a memorable one.
On June 5, Netflix released a clip featuring two Love Is Blind contestants, Izzy and Micah, sitting together in Season 2. Despite being on different seasons (Izzy on Season 5 and Micah on Season 4), this moment allows them to connect and reflect on their experiences in the pods.
Despite the possibility of casual or flirtatious moments between them, Izzy couldn’t help but geek out over Micah. She admitted that she had been following him on social media for quite some time now.
In the clip, he asked, “I’ve seen your TikToks and you’re hilarious. I really appreciate that. Your personality is amazing. Do you happen to have a dog?”
Micah appeared visibly unsettled by her new superfan and even remarked, “It seems you are already well-informed about me.”
To add to the awkwardness, he proceeded to spill some of his drink on himself.
In his confessional, Izzy later expressed, “I can’t even bear to think about it. It was so cringe-worthy. It probably made her feel disgusted. What on earth.”
It goes without saying that the interaction did not go as expected. However, there is still a possibility for more to happen between them without any awkwardness. We will soon discover the outcome.
