A dedicated pizza delivery driver faced the harsh challenges of a snowstorm to fulfill an order in a high-end neighborhood, only to be rewarded with a meager $2 tip. Fortunately, a police officer took it upon himself to lend a helping hand.
Connor Stephanoff, a delivery driver for Rock Star Pizza, undertook a half-mile trek to ensure that his customer received their order in Brownsburg, Indiana. In a viral TikTok video shared by Officer Richard Craig, viewers can see him navigating treacherous road conditions while snowplows attempted to clear the path.
Facing Adversity
Initially, Stephanoff attempted to deliver the pizza by car, but encountered a roadblock caused by a school bus accident that hindered his route. Undeterred, he abandoned his vehicle and continued his delivery on foot, bravely pushing through the snow.
While Officer Craig was out assisting residents amidst the perilous weather, he noticed Stephanoff struggling to walk along the snow-laden street. Concerned for the driver’s safety, Craig advised him to move to the sidewalk. When questioned about his mission in such severe conditions, Stephanoff revealed he was committed to delivering a $40 pizza.

A Shocking Revelation
“Did you get a good tip?” asked Officer Craig during his encounter.
“Two dollars,” Stephanoff replied.
“Are you serious? Cold-blooded!” exclaimed the officer, visibly shocked. “Look at this man—he walked through hell and high water to deliver a pizza.”
In the video’s caption, Craig emphasized Stephanoff’s resilience, noting that he did not complain or abandon the order despite the circumstances. Instead, he chose to deliver the pizza at all costs.
Community Response
To support the underappreciated driver, Officer Craig contributed $15 from his own wallet and created a GoFundMe campaign with a modest initial target of $500. However, the fundraiser has been met with overwhelming generosity, raising over $23,000 as of now.

Recognition from Rock Star Pizza
In a heartfelt statement on Facebook, Rock Star Pizza expressed pride in their employee’s commitment, remarking, “We’ve gone over & above what anyone could ever ask of us, and the effort wasn’t appreciated.” They acknowledged that all employees were given the option to stay home during the snowstorm, but Stephanoff opted to work regardless. “He’s a great kid who works hard, and we’re so happy to have him,” they added.
This episode serves as a reminder of the dedication often displayed by workers in challenging circumstances and highlights the importance of recognizing their efforts, especially in an era where customer appreciation can falter.
