Installation Guide for MultiplayerPlus Mod in Schedule 1
To get started, follow these steps to install the MultiplayerPlus mod using the MelonLoader:
- First, download the MelonLoader application from this link. This is a versatile mod loader specifically designed for games utilizing the Unity Engine, which we will use for the MultiplayerPlus installation.
- Once you launch the MelonLoader installer, you’ll be presented with a list of games. If Schedule 1 appears, select it to proceed, bypassing the next two steps.
- If it’s not listed, choose the Add Game Manually option located in the bottom-right corner.
- Then, navigate to the folder where Schedule 1 is installed. If you’re using Steam, go to your Library, right-click on Schedule 1, select Manage, and click on Browse local files. This will direct you to the game files. Highlight the Schedule 1.exe file and click Open. You should then see it in the list. Select it to continue.
- On the subsequent screen, click Install and wait while the application downloads and sets itself up.
With MelonLoader successfully installed, the next step is to download and add the MultiplayerPlus mod to your game files. Here’s how:
- Download the MultiplayerPlus mod from the Nexus Mods website. This will provide you with a zip file.
- Extract the contents of the zip file and copy the “Multiplayer+FullGame.dll” file contained within.
- Locate your game files folder and search for the “Mods” folder.
- Open the Mods folder and paste the dll file you copied earlier into this directory.
The installation of the MultiplayerPlus mod is now complete. Launch Schedule 1, and a console window will appear, automatically downloading the necessary dependencies and files to activate the mod. Once it finishes, the game will load, allowing you to invite up to 20 players to join your adventure.
Inviting Friends to Schedule 1 with MultiplayerPlus Mod
Before sending invites to your friends, ensure they have the MultiplayerPlus mod installed on their systems as well. Once verified, start the game and click the plus icon at the top-right corner next to your profile picture. This will create your lobby, prompting you to input a password. Choose a password and invite friends from your friend list to join.
Be sure to enter your game save prior to allowing other players to join, as this can lead to issues with loading the save file when others are present in the lobby. Additionally, if the invite button goes missing for your friends, they can simply right-click your username from their friend list and select Join Game.
