A recent shake-up of Team GO Rocket’s squads and rewards in Pokémon Go has divided fans, with some finding the new Pokémon pool disappointing, while others are happy about the changes.
One of Pokémon Go’s most exciting features just got an update, as Team GO Rocket’s leaders and minions have all been changed, meaning a new batch of Pokémon to battle and capture, and even some new shiny Dark Pokémon to find (if you’re lucky).
However, despite significant changes to Giovanni, Arlo, Sierra, Cliff, and the Team GO Rocket minions, many fans are unhappy with the new changes, calling the selection of catchable Pokémon “disappointing”in a recent post on Reddit.
Pokémon Go player u/Entire_Pineapple4732 shared the original post, along with the comment, “They must be joking… Not a single Pseudo-Legendary?”» They are referring to the new rewards for beating Team GO bosses Rocket Cliff, Sierra and Arlo, which are now Machoc, Cacnea and Kraknut.
They’ve gotta be kidding… Not a single Pseudo legendary? byu/Entire_Pineapple4732 inpokemongo
Other Pokémon Go players shared their disappointment in the comments, with one person adding, “Cacnea is the worst lol Arlo got trolled.”Meanwhile, another user responds, “finally Arlo gets something random again.”
However, not everyone is disappointed with the new choices, with many fans relishing the chance to capture a Dark Kraknut, and of course, the Chromatic Dark Kraknut is also a possibility. One person said, “I’m pretty excited about the opportunity to get a shiny Dark Kraknut.”
Finally, another person asks, “What gave you the idea that at least one of them must have a pseudo-legendary?”This was never established as a rule. In fact, the first trio of Obscure Chromatics was Meowth, Farfuret, and Scyther.»
It’s clear that beating the leaders of Team GO Rocket takes a lot of effort, but the increased chances of getting Chromatics and the fun Pokémon to capture – even if they’re not as powerful as some – are still everything. likewise a bonus that the community seems to appreciate.
