A player from Pokémon Go created a concept for crafting Poké Balls that fans really like, because it adds a lot to the current system of game loot.
The making of Poké Balls in Pokémon dates back to Pokémon Gold & Silver, where players could bring Noigrumes to Kurt, who could then use them to construct new balls for the player.
The Poké Balls crafting mechanic has appeared sporadically throughout the series, likely because it is rarely used. Players can achieve good results with status effects and Hyper Balls, so there is little reason to spend time crafting specialized Poké Balls, except in a few cases, like Love Balls.
Unfortunately, Pokémon Go lacks a Poké Ball crafting mechanic. This is a shame, because players can’t rely on status effects to help them capture wild Pokémon. Instead, they are limited to berries, special throws, and regular Poké Balls to help them.

A The Silph Road Reddit user named gameheroes has created an awesome concept for crafting Poké Balls in Pokémon Go. The idea is that players receive crafting materials through regular gameplay, such as spinning PokéStops, capturing Pokémon wild, or beat other players.

With these crafting materials, the player can craft new Poké Balls in Pokémon Go. More powerful Poké Balls (like Luxe Balls and Masse Balls) have a higher material cost, meaning players must craft engage in the game to unlock them.
“That would be great. One of the most fun elements in Arceus Legends!” replied one user, while another said: “That would be really awesome, it just sucks that they have the ability to make this game amazing with features that people want and they just don’t do it, so frustrating.”
“Good game. I’ve wanted alternative balls for… years now,” one user said, “Even just ‘trophy’ balls, like you’d get 5 if you went to Go Fest, or something like that, which wouldn’t offer Not even a capture advantage, just something to use on a special Pokémon or something.”
For years, Pokémon Go fans have wanted more varieties of Poké Balls for their aesthetic appeal and the way they can be used to capture specific Pokémon. Hopefully, Niantic will add such a feature in a future update, expanding the concept of crafting Poké Balls into a game where it can be put to best use.
