Players of Pokémon TCG Pocket are in for a treat as they can now grab a generous amount of free items that could significantly enhance their trading experiences, albeit temporarily. The game’s developers recently announced a special giveaway via a post on X (formerly Twitter), where they declared that every player will receive 1, 000 Trade Tokens without any conditions.

Upon checking in-game, it’s confirmed that these tokens are accessible now, but they come with an important caveat – players have only one month to take advantage of this offer. This initiative aims to ease some of the frustrations surrounding player-to-player trading that many gamers have experienced.

The developer expressed gratitude towards the community’s feedback on the trading system, stating, “Thank you again for your feedback on the trading feature. While we continue investigating ways to improve the feature, we’ll be sending 1, 000 trade tokens to all players via the Gifts menu in the app. We greatly appreciate your patience and being a part of our community.”

Steps to Claim Your Free Trade Tokens

To easily claim your free Trade Tokens, follow these straightforward steps:

Launch the Pokémon TCG Pocket app on your device.
Tap on the Home icon located in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Access the Gifts menu by tapping the icon in the top-right corner.
You should see a gift of 1, 000 Trade Tokens labeled ‘From the development team’.Click the claim button to receive your tokens.

Note that players have one month to retrieve their free Trading Tokens from the Gift inventory.

Since the rollout of the trading feature with the Space-Time Smackdown update on January 29, the community has expressed various concerns regarding the restrictions tied to trading.
