Just a few months away from the highly anticipated return of Yellowstone (and its eventual conclusion), the potential bombshell of Season 6 has made its presence known, but it could potentially create issues for the upcoming episodes.
The past year has been a rollercoaster for fans of Yellowstone. The announcement of Yellowstone’s cancellation and Kevin Costner’s departure has had a significant impact, and the addition of multiple spinoffs such as 6666, 1944, 1923 Season 2, and The Madison has made it challenging to keep track of the Dutton family’s past.
Although it was originally believed that Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2 would mark the end of the Dutton era, new information has surfaced indicating that the popular show may continue, this time with Beth and Rip taking the lead.
The Puck report, which has not been confirmed by Paramount or other official sources at this time, suggests that the entire future of the Western TV franchise may be in jeopardy.

It was predicted by Yellowstone cast member Cole Hauser that Beth and Rip would continue to receive significant screen time in some capacity, but it was believed that this would potentially come in the form of a separate spinoff show.
However, if the reports are accurate and Yellowstone is not canceled after all, it could potentially spoil the anticipated “grand finale”of Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2.
Taking into consideration all of the information we have, it can be speculated that the concluding episodes of Yellowstone would have revolved around the ongoing conflict between Jamie and Beth and his disloyalty towards the family. It was widely believed that one of them would meet their demise in order for the show to reach its conclusion.
Fans speculate that if Beth and Rip do indeed take over Yellowstone, this suggests she emerges victorious in her fight against her adoptive brother, potentially leading to Jamie’s unfortunate demise.
“A Reddit user commented that at this point, there is no reason to continue watching the rest of Season 5. With the potential spinoff for Rip and Beth, the only question left is how Jaime will meet his end, but the user doesn’t seem to care about that.”
“It’s like another Game of Thrones situation, but thankfully they didn’t completely ruin the entire show. At least, I hope not. The ongoing drama between Jamie and Beth should have been resolved a long time ago,”another person chimed in.
“So, does that mean they both survive this season? Thanks for the spoiler,”commented another person on the forum post.
One prediction was that John and Jamie would pass away, leading Casey and his family to relocate in order to shield Tate from the Dutton family’s supposed curse. While Beth and Rip would be in charge of running Yellowstone, Beth would take on the responsibility of ensuring its financial stability while Rip focused on managing the cattle.
Rest assured, these are currently only reports. There remains the possibility for another spinoff to be included in the continuously expanding collection. And with filming for the second part of Yellowstone Season 5 likely coming to a close, it is uncertain how the next chapter of the Dutton family saga will unfold.
