After much effort, MYSTIC7, a renowned Pokemon Go player, has completed what is widely regarded as the most challenging research task in the game. He has also shared the exact amount of time it took him to finish it.
Despite their expertise in Pokemon Go, professional players may still struggle with certain Research Tasks. This was evident when one pro recently completed what is considered to be the most challenging research in the game.
The Glimmers of Gratitude Masterwork Research is widely recognized as a difficult series of tasks for all players. In order to complete it, one must catch 492 Pokemon from the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh regions, which is just the first set of seven challenges.
Included below are a range of throw tasks, catch challenges, and 21-day quests. These are all overshadowed by the ultimate goal of reaching level 40. However, for experienced Pokemon Go player MYSTIC7, this proved to be the least of his concerns.
After being released in February 2024, MYSTIC7 has finally completed the entire Special Research, only three months later.
By sharing his experiences on YouTube, the professional gamer documented his journey in completing the tasks and revealed that it took him more than a month to finish the first set of challenges. While he did easily complete the level challenge, the amount of time and dedication required for this challenge proved to be quite difficult for MYSTIC7.
Fortunately, his efforts paid off with a Shiny Shaymin, making the time and dedication worth it.
Despite receiving both praise and criticism, MYSTIC7’s comments were filled with a mix of support and frustration. While some commended him for doing a “great job,”others were quick to criticize the tasks, stating “The fact that they become easier instead of harder is mind-boggling.”However, there were also fans who appreciated the longer tasks, especially since they were not time-limited.
Ultimately, although the Glimmers of Gratitude Research Task may be enjoyable, it is certainly difficult – however, if a skilled player like MYSTIC7 can complete it, then you can too.
