Ningning’s intriguing post comes in the wake of a significant wave of criticism directed at aespa related to their recent performances. On September 13, the group made its U. S.debut on the popular morning show Good Morning America, showcasing their new track “Rich Man.”Unfortunately, they faced backlash for alleged lip-syncing and what many fans viewed as insufficient preparation. The negative sentiments resurfaced during a recent awards show where accusations of lip-syncing lingered during most of their acts.

However, despite the ongoing backlash, aespa is not slowing down. The group has been actively promoting their work, having released their first single album titled Dirty Work on June 27. They also had a successful performance at SMTown Live 2025, which took place at the iconic Tokyo Dome in August and most recently, launched their sixth mini-album, featuring “Rich Man”as the title track.

As aespa navigates these challenges, their engagement with fans remains crucial, reflecting the delicate balance between public expectations and the artistic journey of idols in the competitive K-pop landscape.
