Despite facing pandemic-related delays and difficulty finding a distributor, Reagan, a film based on a 2006 biography of the former President, was shot in 2020 after a tumultuous journey to theaters.
However, despite finally hitting theaters over Labor Day weekend, the film Reagan is struggling at the box office. According to reports, it has come in third place and is currently tied with Twisters and It Ends With Us. The film was made with a budget of $25 million, but as of this writing, it has only made just under $10 million.
Despite the scathing reviews and Regan’s abysmal 20% Tomatometer on Rotten Tomatoes, the film is not receiving any help and continues to be heavily criticized by critics.
