Recently Buffed BO6 Assault Rifle Takes Over Warzone

The Model L has recently emerged as one of the standout assault rifles in Warzone following a substantial buff in Season 2, yet it remains relatively under-discussed among players.

Throughout most of Season 1, the XM4 reigned supreme as the best long-range weapon in Warzone. However, the Season 2 update saw Raven Software implement significant nerfs to this rifle, targeting its damage range, 100-round magazine, and the Buff Stock attachment. Despite these changes, the XM4 continued to perform well, thanks largely to the Buff Stock attachment’s ability to mitigate recoil, allowing players to eliminate enemies across varied distances.

Frustrated with the XM4’s persistent dominance, Raven Software enacted further modifications aimed at dethroning it from its lofty position. Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
Magazine: Extended Mag II
Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip

Laser: Target Laser
Fire Mods: 5.56 NATO Overpressured

This configuration is advantageous as it allows players to utilize their attachment slots more effectively—leaving out an optic in favor of practical options like a Laser or a Fire Mod.

When analyzing the time-to-kill statistics from TrueGameData, the Model L performs slightly behind the Goblin Mk2, AK-74, and Cypher 091. Nevertheless, it offers superior accuracy compared to these competitors and does not have the semi-automatic limitation that affects the Goblin Mk2.
