Redrawn One Punch Man Chapter 198: Sonic vs Flash Battle Ensues as Readers Get a Glimpse of the Ninja Village

The newly released One Punch Man chapter 198 has been redrawn and it appears that there are some notable alterations. One aspect that was well-received by fans was the reappearance of Fubuki on the cover page. It seems that Murata has a particular fondness for this character, especially when it comes to selecting cover art.

The revised version of One Punch Man chapter 198 continued to center on Sonic and Flashy Flash, just as many fans had predicted. The story remained largely consistent with the previous version of the series, but Murata included additional panels to delve deeper into the daily lives of the shinobi living in the Ninja Village.

Upon the release of the redrawn One Punch Man chapter 198 a few hours ago, Murata provided a more detailed examination of the events that took place.

Redrawn One Punch Man Chapter 198: Sonic and Flash’s First Meeting in the Village

The chapter opened with a portrayal of an encounter between Sonic and Flash, when they both lived in the Ninja Village. Flash was depicted as a reserved and timid individual who did not engage in conversations with others in the village. This was largely due to a strict rule put in place by their leader, which carried the consequence of death for those who disobeyed it.

Both Flash and Sonic were members of Squad 5, and Flash was taken aback when Sonic offered to share some tips with him. Flash had assumed that they were equals in skill, but Sonic had some valuable advice that ended up benefiting both of them. One particular tip was using the reverse grip of the blade, which allowed the user to conceal it under their sleeve. Flash found this technique intriguing and quickly learned it, adding it to his growing repertoire of skills.

The revised version of One Punch Man chapter 198 depicted the daily lives of the shinobi in their village. Each day in the village consisted of 72 hours, with only 6 hours designated for sleeping.

The shinobi in this village only managed to get about 3 hours of sleep each day, which was hardly enough. A particularly unfortunate aspect of their lives was the lack of flavor in their food. The village purposely made their meals bland and the shinobi were forbidden from socializing with others.

In addition, their living conditions were comparable to a jail cell. They were confined to a small room with only a cot and a commode, forcing them to both sleep and use the bathroom in the same space. Their days were spent training to become skilled fighters, with any show of emotion being discouraged. Those who were able to suppress their emotions were seen as the most accomplished shinobi.

The latest installment of One Punch Man, chapter 198, showcased a showdown between Sonic and Flash that began just prior to a flashback being revealed. The two characters exchanged blows, resulting in a seemingly equal match. Sonic resorted to utilizing his Ninja weapons, such as the Shuriken, but Flash’s remarkable agility enabled him to effortlessly dodge them.

Towards the conclusion, Sonic and Flash resorted to their most powerful techniques. Sonic executed his Nine Shadow Funeral and followed it up with his Wind Blade Kick, while Flash had no choice but to unleash his Flash Fist. He was taken aback, as he never expected Sonic to push him to the point of using his ultimate move.

Despite their initial confrontation, the Heavenly Ninja Party quickly ended the fight. Sonic saw them as insignificant compared to Saitama, whose power was unquestionable. Sonic and Flash joined forces with Saitama to defeat the Heavenly Ninja Party.
