In the game Resident Evil Requiem, the ARK section becomes accessible once Leon triumphs over the mutated plant creature and steps into Umbrella’s lab known as ARK.

Once you’ve entered the ARK, progress straight ahead until you locate a save room on the left. Make sure to save your game, manage your inventory, and then explore the unexplored areas through the staircase. Don’t forget to destroy the Mr. Raccoon positioned on the container to your right before descending.

Proceed directly to the Server Room. To your left, you will find a green herb sitting on a cart, as well as some white canisters that will play a critical role later.

Enter the next room and retrieve the module located on the desk. Interact with the monitor to trigger a cutscene.

Return to the server room and ready a hand grenade if you have one. As the elite guards approach the door, throw the grenade to maximize damage. If you miss, take them on individually, focusing first on one side.

If you choose to tackle the left side, detonating the white canister will create a smoke screen that disorients the guards. Remember that these elite guards are fast and accurate; avoid exposing yourself to their gunfire.

Once you’ve dealt with the elite guards, swiftly move to the adjacent area on your right where you’ll encounter additional guards. Use the boxes for cover and employ your rifle to pick them off one at a time by cautiously peeking from right to left.

When the remaining guards retreat, proceed right and climb the ladder to their side. Use this elevated position to attempt to snipe them before you drop down.

Upon landing, collect any ammo from the fallen guards. Be prepared for more elite guards to pop up on your right, including one equipped with a shield. If you have a hand grenade, use it against the shielded guard and handle the others individually.

Continue onward and take the stairs to return to the save room. If saving or purchasing from the supply box is unnecessary, turn right and follow the only available path until you reach the top of the staircase.

Turn right and collect some ammo from the room. Then, proceed back to the center and head straight towards the main door.

Commander Boss Battle

The confrontation with the commander takes place in a confined area marked by four central pillars. Conventional firearms have little effect as he adeptly evades bullets. Utilize your melee hatchet during this fight.

The commander can deflect most of your melee strikes, making it more effective to wait for his attack and counter him. While he is swift, his attacking patterns are limited. Once you grasp the timing of his moves, parrying becomes straightforward.

After successfully parrying, follow up with two strikes using your hatchet and retreat, as the commander recuperates rapidly. Sometimes, simultaneous attacks will initiate a duel. Be vigilant for quick-time events that may arise during these encounters.

When you gain the upper hand, expect the commander to deploy smoke and retreat to utilize his firearm. Use the pillars for cover as you await his return to close combat.

Continue executing the parry followed by melee strikes until the commander is defeated.Acquire the Mortal Edge hatchet from him and scour the room for additional loot. Exit through the door and ascend the stairs to where you previously dropped down to trigger cutscenes involving Zeno and Grace.

Grace’s Opportunity to Shine

Following the cutscenes, control shifts to Grace, who partners with Leon through the dump. Proceed forward until a large crane obstructs your path. Move towards the only route available, interact with the vent above, and receive a boost from Leon to crawl through the vents back into the ARK labs.

You will land near the dump control room. Continue up the stairs to reach the control room; however, activating the crane requires the Override Key.

Locating the Override Key

Proceed straight and ascend the stairs to a safe room that contains a storage chest. Retrieve any useful items previously stored, especially Molotov Cocktails and Empty Bottles.

Ascend the stairs and exit through the door. Follow the hallway to its end and enter the only unoccupied room. A licker can be seen near the window but is currently unaware of your presence; keep in mind lickers react to noise.

Crawl through the lab area, grabbing the green herb on the desk. Turn left to pick up an Empty Bottle from beside the beds (one containing a zombie that will awaken shortly).

Collect the Makeshift Knife from the desk and monitor the licker’s movements carefully. There’s a safe in this room with a combination that is revealed later on, but the current code is 10R, 90L, and 20R.

Advance to the next room. The right door is locked, but there is another hallway to your right. Before entering this hallway, turn left to unlock the door for a shortcut back to the save room.

Return to the hallway where a licker is crawling on the ceiling. Proceed to the door quietly to avoid alerting the zombie within.Collect the two Bottles of Acid located on the desk and retrace your steps back to the hallway. It’s advisable to shoot the licker to draw attention from the one in the preceding room, causing both to rush towards you. Hold your ground in one hallway and toss a Molotov Cocktail when they close in.

If you can catch both lickers close enough, they will be stunned by the fire. Use the Bottles of Acid for additional damage to ideally eliminate them both. Should you find yourself depleted of resources, consider restarting to avoid difficulties later.

After clearing the lickers, enter the room where the Bottles of Acid were found. Eliminate the two zombies and retrieve the Override Key (Dump Control Room). Proceed back towards the hallway and take out the zombie stationed there.

Rush to the Lab Room to save your progress. Then backtrack and descend the stairs. A licker may start roaming in this area so crawl carefully down. Use the Override Key on the control panel to grant Leon access. Look back to collect the Magnetic Key from the wall-mounted box.

Navigating to the Central Refining System

Make your way back upstairs while avoiding the licker. Use the Magnetic Key to access the room adjacent to the save room. Before entering, return to Bioweapon Repository 02. Open the door and snag the Molotov Cocktail on your right, which will awaken the nearby zombie.

After securing the Molotov, check the case behind you for the Animus Orb. Quickly move to the right to grab the Transfusion Bag. Try drawing the newly appearing zombies one way before darting around to save your ammunition.

Return to the Lobby and place the Animus Orb into the locked door. Veer left to enter a small room. Convert your Empty Bottles and leftover blood into as many Bottles of Acid as possible. There’s also a safe here; the combination is 50L, 60R, and 80L.

Exit and navigate along the unexplored corridor in the lobby. Move through the door into the Anteroom. Descend the staircase to collect a green herb and read the note containing the combination for the Sterilization Chamber safe.

Inside, beware of the lurking lickers. Move to the left and open the storage container right beside you.Collect the Hip Pouch along with an Empty Bottle. Manipulate the lickers to gather and launch a Molotov Cocktail to incapacitate them. Follow up with a Bottle of Acid when they’re stunned.

Open the storage container on the far left, collecting handgun ammo. Approach the center and gather Scrap from one of the opened containers. Proceed straight, temporarily ignoring one zombie, while staying cautious of another licker ahead. Noisy actions could attract both of them.

Utilize the center to funnel lickers together for optimal Molotov damage. Once they’re hit, it typically requires around five additional hits to finish them off. After you’ve dispatched both lickers and the zombie, turn right into one of the large containers for more Scrap and a note regarding the Medical Control Room safe.

Open the remaining containers for additional resources, but anticipate the presence of a zombie in both. Ascend the stairs and proceed through the room, where you can save your game. Interact with the monitor to update your map. On your right, there’s a Mr. Raccoon on the shelf. Open the case and retrieve the Noblesse Orb stored within, along with a Med Injector on the desk.

Head back to the Lobby, but be aware that lickers might ambush you in the Anteroom. Wait for them to shift before stealthily crossing to the opened side. Retrieve resources from the safes. If you’ve already looted them, make a beeline to the Lobby and place the Noblesse Orb in its designated slot to access the next room.

Interact with the monitor on the right to obtain the respective file. Following this, engage with the main monitor situated at the center, which will initiate an extensive cutscene. The narrative will momentarily shift back to Leon shortly before Grace unlocks the pathway.

Leon’s Quest to Eliminate Elpis

Leon’s segment begins at the dump; however, his state is visibly deteriorating due to the infection. Ascend the ladder and enter the Back Room to gather any available materials.

Continue through the hallway to encounter two zombies. Press forward, and you may experience blurred vision from the infection—a random occurrence that will reappear frequently.

Collect the hand grenade to your right and head left to the hallway leading toward Bioweapon Repository 11. Retrieve the legendary module inside a suitcase, alongside some machine ammo positioned nearby. Progress through the next door and into the following hallway.

Move ahead until encountering your first staircase descending. A licker will fall from the vents, alerting the rest. Expect multiple lickers to follow shortly after.

The most effective strategy is to retreat to the hallway before the railings and confront them there. Engage the first two lickers one at a time. After defeating the second, the third will drop down onto you while you are holding your position, and shortly thereafter a fourth will appear.

Once you’ve dealt with the fourth, proceed forward. Upon dropping down, additional lickers will appear. Search for the one roaming the center, while also checking all the accessible storage containers and breakable boxes in the vicinity before reaching the control panel and activating it.

There will be a licker attached to the wall, along with another lurking close by on your left. Head right, preparing to unleash your shotgun and fully-loaded machine gun.

Loot the room, then engage with the control panel to open a new path. Follow this route, scale the stairs, and arrive at the control room. Gather supplies from the desk and the case. Don’t forget to collect the Override Key (Bioweapon Repository 11) from the box.

As you return to Bioweapon Repository 11, expect to be met by an onslaught of six lickers. Position yourself strategically; if you still have a hand grenade from prior loot, shoot one licker to attract the rest, then retreat through the door, closing it behind you. The lickers will accumulate before they manage to break in, allowing you to toss your hand grenade as soon as they breach.

Once inside, sprint towards the propane tanks located to your left and right. Activate both to eliminate all six lickers swiftly. Afterward, proceed to the locked door to use the Override Key.

This action initiates a lockdown, necessitating survival until the elevator opens. Expect zombies to breach through the chambers, which are notably simpler to handle than lickers; conserving your remaining ammo is advisable. Utilize the weapons dropped by zombies to preserve your supply.

During the cutscene featuring Grace, Leon, and Zeno, Grace attempts to negotiate with Zeno. She offers the code to spare Leon’s life, and Zeno complies, presenting two options for players: Destroy Elpis or Release Elpis.

The choice you make leads to drastically different endings. Additionally, after completing one decision, the game allows you to revisit this moment and select the alternative choice without losing any CP bonuses or progress.
