On September 29, 2025, Sony will reintroduce the highly coveted 30th Anniversary PS5 bundle. This follows a remarkable sellout in 2024 that left many eager gamers disappointed.
The anniversary PS5 bundles first launched in 2024, quickly disappearing from shelves and online platforms. Their immense popularity transformed them into collector’s items, driving prices on resale websites to astonishing heights, with the PS5 Pro version reaching up to $10, 000 shortly after its release.
Pre-Order Measures by Sony
To prevent automated purchases by bots and curb scalping, Sony has implemented strict pre-order regulations. Each PSN account will be allowed only one pre-order. The pre-order phase will be staggered: PlayStation Plus members can start pre-ordering on July 21, while general access begins on July 23. Given that supplies are extremely limited, demand is anticipated to remain exceptionally high.
As of this announcement, the limited restock is confirmed for six countries: Canada, France, Italy, Ireland, Japan, and the UK. However, the availability in the United States remains unclear, with no confirmation of a restock there as of yet.

This exclusive bundle features a gray-and-black PS5 console designed in homage to the original model from 1994, accompanied by a matching DualSense controller and nostalgic packaging. Additionally, a PlayStation Portal adorned in the classic colors will be available.
It’s important to highlight that this restock is limited to the digital version of the standard PS5. The PS5 Pro, which boasts the same anniversary design and commands a significantly higher price on eBay, will not be included in this restock—unless Sony announces otherwise in the future.
