A man believed to be behind a series of robberies in Idaho Springs, Colorado, was unexpectedly apprehended by authorities while being filmed by local TV news crews covering his alleged crimes. In this case, Richard Applequist chose to walk past the very cameras documenting his alleged activities, raising eyebrows as he made his way behind CBS anchor Justin Adams.
Adams was taken aback when he caught sight of Applequist crossing the street during the live broadcast. Despite wearing a hood, Applequist appeared indifferent to the surrounding camera activity, which inadvertently led to his downfall.
