Both researchers, Dareel and Samin, have assigned numerous tasks involving the capture of Endemic Life forms. The Ember Rufflizard, found primarily in the Oilwell Basin, is one such creature.

To locate these lizards, head to the lower regions littered with lava, specifically in Area 15. As this area lacks pop-up tents, set a waypoint at the lava vent and look out for the Ember Rufflizards’ distinctive neon green hue.

The Endemic Life Field Guide notes that Ember Rufflizards are commonly found in small groups, thriving in the hot, volcanic environment of the Basin.
For better chances of spotting them, navigate to the central part of the cavern or try the crater located in Area 9.

Equip your capture net from either the item bar or the Essential Items menu. Remember to utilize the L2/LT button instead of the typical square/X button.
Carefully aim with the LT button; when the reticle changes to an orange color, press RT to deploy the net and capture the Rufflizard.
After successfully capturing the Ember Rufflizard, return it to Dareel at the base camp in Windward Plains.

Upon completing this task, you will be rewarded with a total of 10 Might Seeds to boost your attack power, 5 Honey for crafting Mega Potions, 100 Guild Points, and advancement in your Hunter Rank (HR).
