In a live stream, IGL Matias ‘Saadhak’ Delipetro spoke out about the rumors surrounding him and the Valorant team’s roster after their underwhelming performance in VCT Americas.
Despite its strong performance in the VCT Americas Split 1 regular season, LOUD was unable to secure a spot at VCT Masters Shanghai after a disappointing showing in the playoffs. The team was eliminated in the first round and shortly after, reports emerged that star player Felipe ‘Less’ Basso would be benched for financial reasons.
After the report was released, Valorant fans began to speculate about which team would potentially acquire Less from LOUD and whether Saadhak would also leave the team.
The Argentinian player shared his thoughts on his status with the Brazilian organization during a livestream on May 12, stating that he felt embarrassed by LOUD’s performance in the first split of VCT.
@loud_saadhak spoke a lot about the current situation of @LOUDgg …The manito commented on the below – expected performances this year and even on the rumors of leaving the team: “This year was already shit, this year was really rubbish. I’m very unhappy” 👇 pic.twitter.com/LAQhPeYlFG

“To be frank, I doubt that LOUD will be willing to sell me, especially in the middle of the season. Many people have been asking me if I want to leave… to be completely honest, all I want is to win. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to achieve that,”he stated, according to a fan translation on Twitter.
Saadhak expressed his dissatisfaction with the team’s results thus far, admitting that he found it difficult to meet LOUD’s owner’s gaze due to the shame he felt about their performance.
“Despite the shamefulness of our play and the terrible year we’ve had, what can you do?”He continued.
Despite a successful start to the year, with a second place finish at the VCT Americas Kickoff tournament and a fourth place finish at VCT Masters Madrid, LOUD faced challenges once regular season play began. They were only able to secure two wins, but managed to qualify for the playoff stage due to their strong round differential.
With the second split of VCT Americas starting on June 22, LOUD will have slightly more than a month to make any necessary adjustments to its roster.
