Sarada Potentially Rising as the Next Mikasa in Boruto Series

The Boruto series is currently centered around Jura, who is proving to be an incredibly formidable adversary, placing Shikamaru in a precarious situation as Hokage.

Despite clarifying that Naruto and Hinata are unharmed, Boruto remains branded a traitor. His decision to withhold their location was to protect Kawaki, although the underlying motives for this remain unclear.

Recently, fan discussions have shifted back to Boruto’s potential destiny as the series nears its conclusion. The fandom is speculating that Boruto’s fate might be intricately linked to Sarada Uchiha, suggesting that she could serve a role similar to Mikasa Ackermann from Attack on Titan.

Manga enthusiasts are aware that Boruto has transformed fully into an Otsutsuki, prompting Kawaki’s desire to eliminate him, as Boruto now poses a considerable threat to Naruto Uzumaki. At this juncture, Boruto has been able to keep his composure during confrontations.

Up until now, Momoshiki hasn’t managed to seize control of Boruto in battle. However, the presence of Kawaki’s Karma Mode pressures Boruto to retreat, hinting that Momoshiki’s takeover could happen if Kawaki activates this mode.

The protagonist is self-aware of the danger his current state presents. The manga has yet to divulge any strategies he may have devised to counter the threat of Momoshiki’s takeover, but there are growing suspicions among fans that he could meet a tragic end.

If the narrative leads to such an outcome, it’s conceivable that Boruto might request Sarada to deliver the final blow. Should his plans unravel, he would likely recognize the peril his existence poses to those he cherishes, prompting a choice for his nearest ally to end his life.

This scenario draws parallels to Mikasa Ackermann from Attack on Titan, who faced the heartbreaking task of killing Eren. Though it was a painful choice, she delivered the fatal blow, showcasing her deep affection for him, even kissing his severed head. Consequently, fans speculate that Sarada could experience a similar fate in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.

Conclusion

With Boruto having fully embraced his Otsutsuki identity, the possibility of his death may be essential for eradicating Momoshiki as well. Nonetheless, it’s likely that he has devised a plan regarding this matter. In a desperate scenario, Boruto could implore Sarada to end his life if he succumbs to Momoshiki’s influence.

If such a situation arises, the series might position Sarada as the one to strike the lethal blow, establishing her as the Boruto equivalent of Mikasa Ackermann. Although this is an intriguing fan theory, it seems improbable that Masashi Kishimoto would choose to kill off the main protagonist in the series’ finale.
