Evil has made multiple appearances on Netflix before. In 2020, viewers could only watch the first season until it left in 2021. Originally airing on CBS, the show later moved to Paramount+ for its second and third seasons.
The series Evil features Katja Herbers as Dr. Kristen Bouchard, a forensic psychologist who is highly skilled in providing expert testimony in criminal trials and holds a strong belief in evidence-based facts. Despite her atheist beliefs, she is offered a position as an assessor. Mike Colter stars as David Acosta, a journalist and aspiring priest who enlists Kristen’s help in investigating alleged miracles, spiritual occurrences, and malicious acts.
With the assistance of their technical support and atheist ally Ben Shakir (Aasif Mandvi), they come to the realization that evil is now roaming freely on Earth. Evil has garnered widespread acclaim from critics for its compelling plot and well-developed characters, earning an impressive 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Currently, Paramount+ offers Evil for streaming, along with other notable series to explore this month.
