Seonghwa’s name symbolizes aspiration, derived from the meaning of “to become a star.” Hailing from Seodong, Sacheon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea, he pursued education in the Broadcasting and Entertainment Department at Global Cyber University and previously studied in the Practical Dance Department at Baekje Arts University. He comes from a loving family that includes his parents and an older brother born in 1995. Tragically, Seonghwa has publicly acknowledged the recent passing of his grandmother.

Renowned for his vocal versatility, Seonghwa masterfully navigates a broad range of notes, effortlessly delivering powerful performances even during high-energy choreography.
