Therefore, a fan on X has theorized that someone may have played a role in this fortuitous turn of events, potentially Shibai Otsutsuki.

According to Naruto’s official website, it was revealed that Kurama’s return was certain following his death. This is due to the fact that the demise of a tailed beast is not permanent. Eventually, the tailed beast will be reborn somewhere over time, though this process may take several hundred to several thousand years.

Contrary to expectations, in the manga Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Kurama’s resurrection occurred much earlier than usual, taking place inside Himawari only three years after his death. This unexpected return surprised Kurama himself, leading him to question the cause of his early return to the human realm. While there could be multiple explanations for this, the most likely is that someone orchestrated it.

Based on a post by @Borusar77830356, a fan of Boruto on the platform formerly known as Twitter, it is speculated that the individual behind these developments is Shibai Otsutsuki. Although he has been mentioned in the series, he has yet to make a proper appearance.

Only Shibai possessed powers comparable to those of an Otsutsuki God, enabling him to accelerate the resurrection of a tailed beast to just three years, a feat that would normally require a century or even a millennium.

It has been proposed that Shibai may have disrupted the speed of Kurama’s resurrection due to the potential threat posed by the Divine Trees to the Otsutsuki. Thus, Shibai accelerated Kurama’s resurrection in order to assist the Shinobi in swiftly eliminating the Divine Trees.

It is surprising that Shibai is not only credited for Kurama’s rapid resurrection but also for keeping Sarada Uchiha and Sumire Kakei safe from Eida’s Omnipotence Shinjutsu, as stated by fans. It is believed that the Otsutsuki God may have played a role in this protection.

Based on the fact that Shibai is the source of the power, it is highly likely that he is manipulating events from behind the scenes.

It is expected that the upcoming Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga series will shed light on Shibai Otsutsuki, Kurama’s revival, and Eida’s unstoppable powers, providing insight into the unusual events that have been occurring in the series.

  • Amado’s daughter Akebi may play a bigger role in Boruto than fans think, paralleling the origins of a key Naruto plotline
