Fans of Pokémon Go discuss the different shinies that they refuse to evolve when they find them.
It’s every Pokémon trainer’s dream tofind as many shiny versions of their favorite creatures to collect.
These rare versions are highly sought after by all serious trainers in the game and will function similarly to any normal Pokémon.
However, some players reveal that there are certain shiny Pokémon that they refuse to evolve at any time for various reasons.

In a post on the Pokémon Go subreddit, a player made a post asking the community: “Is anyone else refusing to evolve certain shiny Pokémon?”

His post shows a shiny Mystgrass they have in their collection, and he explains that there’s something cute about the unevolved versions of many shiny Pokémon, leading them to not evolve them at all.
There are many members in the community who agree with this sentiment, as the most popular comment says: “I am the same. I don’t evolve a shiny Pokémon unless I have two. Because I like to have one of each evolution.”
While some of these users share a love of the cuteness of shiny Pokémon, others do it strictly for the collection.

This may also depend on the design of certain evolved shinys, as one player mentions that they keep their Draco from changing into a Dragonite because they “don’t want a vomit green Dragonite.”
The most serious Pokémon Go players are all focused on finishing that Pokédex, and keeping a base shiny is just one way they choose to do it.
