Spectre Divide intends to release a Closed Beta, but the developers have decided to conduct a “stress test weekend”prior to its launch.
The developers have scheduled a stress test for the game’s servers on August 3, lasting for eight hours from 12 PM to 8 PM PT. During this time, playtesters will be given access to the game.
To participate in the stress test, players must add Spectre Divide to their Steam wishlist and click on the Request Access button on the game’s Steam page. If selected, players will be able to download the playtest for the game.

At present, there is no timetable available for the Closed Beta of Spectre Divide.
Spectre Divide gameplay details
Spectre Divide is a 3v3 tactical shooter featuring a classic defusal mode. Attackers must take control of a bomb site and plant the bomb, while defenders must protect the sites or retake them in order to defuse the bomb.
The caveat is that every player will possess a Duality. A Duality is an additional body that can be controlled, allowing you to place one at a certain location while being present at another in order to quickly rotate. This also grants you the advantage of effectively having two lives.
As a tactical shooter, accurate gunplay is crucial, as the developers have described it as exhibiting “true-to-crosshair”precision.
You will have the option to select from a variety of characters, each with their own distinct abilities and utilities. Additionally, a shop will be available at the beginning of each round for purchasing weapons.
