The MMORPG landscape has been relatively quiet, especially since the release of New World: Aeternum back in October 2024. Nevertheless, there’s exciting news for fans of the genre: an innovative new title called Chrono Odyssey is set to make its debut soon.
Chrono Odyssey, an upcoming MMORPG, distinguishes itself with its captivating time manipulation mechanics. Set in the realm of Setera, players will encounter a blend of medieval and post-apocalyptic elements, creating a uniquely unpredictable world where time itself can shift unexpectedly. Enthusiasts can get a head start by signing up for the closed beta test.

2. About Chrono Odyssey
Developed by Chrono Studio and published by Kakao Games, Chrono Odyssey features extraordinary time manipulation mechanics. Players can rewind combat errors, freeze foes, and navigate through past eras, which adds a distinctive layer to the combat experience. Setera, the game’s world, artfully combines medieval aesthetics with elements of a post-apocalyptic future.
The closed beta is slated for June 2025, with registration currently available on Steam. Players can expect the full release of the game later in 2025 across multiple platforms, including PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
