Kim Bo-ra and Jo Ba-reun tied the knot on June 8th in Seoul, surrounded by their loved ones and close friends. During the wedding ceremony, Lee Su-hyun, best friend of Kim Bo-ra, serenaded the newlyweds with Sung Si-kyung’s “We Make A Good Pair”as a heartfelt congratulatory song.
Kim Bo-ra shared a video on her SNS account of Lee Su-hyun singing at her wedding and shared her joy with the caption, “Yay~ Soo-hyun sang for me”. In response to Su-hyun’s remark, “We’ve all grown up”, Kim Bo-ra replied, “I am now an adult”.
The wedding of Kim Bo-ra, star of JTBC’s 2019 drama “SKY Castle”, was also attended by the cast. One of her friends, Kim Hye-yoon, known for her role in tvN’s popular drama “Lovely Runner”, was spotted striking a pose in front of Kim Bo-ra as her wedding dress was being adjusted, demonstrating their close friendship.
Actress Jin Ji-hee shared a picture of Kim Bo-ra and Jo Ba-reun sharing a kiss with the caption, “June’s princess, be happy.”Furthermore, Jo Hyun-ah from Urban Zakapa posted a video of Lee Soo-hyun singing at Kim Bo-ra’s wedding, along with the message, “Wishing you all the happiness in your marriage♥.”
On March 5th, Kim Bo-ra and Jo Ba-reun made a public announcement of their marriage. At the time, Kim Bo-ra’s agency stated that the couple intended to have their wedding in June, following three years of dating. They also requested fans to show their ongoing support for the actress’s career even after she gets married.
According to reports, the two became romantically involved while collaborating on the 2021 horror film “Ghost Mansion.”The film, which marked Jo Ba-reun’s directorial debut in the horror genre, centers around eerie occurrences in a run-down apartment building and features a star-studded cast including Kim Bo-ra, Sung Joon, Kim Hong-pa, and Park So-jin.
Kim Bo-ra will make her post-wedding appearance in the new MBC drama “Black Out,”set to premiere in August. Jo Ba-reun made his debut with the short film “Vibration”in 2016 and was awarded the Korean Fantastic Short Film at the 21st Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival the following year. He has since directed multiple films including “Gang”(2019) and “Slate”(2021).
