In the images shared on social media, Kim Bo-ra is captured strolling down the aisle in a pristine white wedding gown, beaming radiantly. Accompanying her is her spouse, director Jo Ba-reun. The joyous looks on their faces are remarkable.
The couple shared their wedding news in March of last year.
At the time, Noon Company, the agency representing Kim Bo-ra, announced, “Kim Bo-ra will be getting married this June. Her groom-to-be is film director Jo Ba-reun, and the couple has chosen to tie the knot after three years of building a strong foundation of trust and faith in each other.”
The speaker announced that the wedding ceremony will be an intimate affair, with only close family members, relatives, and friends in attendance. They kindly requested for blessings to be bestowed upon Kim Bo-ra as she enters this new phase in her life.
Kim Bo-ra and Jo Ba-reun are six years apart in age. Kim Bo-ra is currently 29, while Jo Ba-reun is 35.
It is said that the couple formed a strong bond after initially crossing paths on the set of the 2021 film “Ghost Mansion.”
This film was subsequently shown on ENA with the title “Ghost Mansion: The Original”.
Kim Bo-ra’s acting journey took off with the 2005 drama “Wedding”. Since then, she has graced the screens in multiple films and dramas such as “Small Town Rivals”, “Evil Twin”, “Monster”, “Time Renegades”, “Goodbye Summer”, “Love and Leashes”, “The Ghost Station”, “Jungle Fish 2”, “Scent of a Woman”, “SKY Castle”, “Her Private Life”and “Like Flowers in Sand”, gaining praise for her exceptional acting abilities.
In 2017, Director Jo Ba-reun received recognition for winning the Korean Fantastic Short Film Award at the 21st Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival. Since then, he has continued to showcase his distinct directorial approach in his works, including “Gang”, “Slate”and “Ghost Mansion”.
