Episode 2 of Solo Leveling already promises to delve a little deeper into the horror of the double dungeon and the trap that closed on Jinwoo and his companions. Release date and time, spoilers: here’s everything you need to know.
Solo Leveling recently made a remarkable debut and has already established itself as one of the most popular anime of the year 2024. Directed by Shunsuke Nakashige, the series is inspired by the popular manhwa by Chugong (story) and Jang Sung-rak (drawing).
The story takes place in a world that has radically changed 10 years earlier, after the appearance of portals leading to parallel universes, filled with magic and… monsters. The latter being as if immune to human weapons, the only solution to get rid of them is to rely on hunters whose potential has been evaluated.
Jinwoo is probably the weakest among them, but he persists in this risky profession, for the good of his family. During a seemingly innocuous expedition, his team discovers a secret room deep in their dungeon, and things get out of hand.

Solo Leveling Episode 2 will air on Saturday January 13, 2024 on Crunchyroll. It will be available at 6:30 p.m. in France.

Episode 2 of Solo Leveling will show us Sung Jinwoo trying to decipher the puzzles of the double dungeon. Her friend Joohee is paralyzed by the horrors. As for Mr. Song, he thanks Jinwoo for his quick response. But the young man notices that the team leader lost his arm in the attack.

Reading over the commandments on the tablet, Jinwoo realizes that the “god” mentioned in the scriptures must be the largest statue in the dungeon. One of the hunters tries to go through the door, but is immediately killed.
Following Jinwoo’s advice, the others begin to obey the commandments. However, discord among survivors and confusion over the rules leads to more deaths. And our hero doesn’t come out unscathed either: Jinwoo is also seriously injured, and loses his leg.
Finally, in the last stage, Kim and a few hunters escape from the sacrificial chamber and survive the dungeon. Mr. Song, Jinwoo and Joohee are left to their fate, which is not very bright.
Jinwoo ultimately decides to sacrifice himself so Mr. Song and Joohee can escape. As soon as they leave, the statues attack the world’s weakest hunter, beating him to death.
In his final moments, Jinwoo then begs for a second chance. A strange system is then offered to him, and the young man discovers that he has fulfilled all the conditions of a secret quest.
