Excitement is building among players as the Reckoning Easter egg in Black Ops 6 Zombies has officially launched and is gradually becoming more complex. This Easter egg is designed to be more intricate compared to previous updates like the Tomb or Shattered Veil, featuring layered objectives and NPC events that alter as you navigate the map. If you’re eager to continue your journey from Terminus, this comprehensive guide will provide you with all confirmed steps thus far.
Please note that the following information is a work in progress, set to be updated as more discoveries are made by the community.

Activating the Pack-a-Punch
Your first objective is to activate the Pack-a-Punch machine. Although you can follow the objective markers, it’s advisable to unlock as many doors in the Project Janus HQ as possible initially, allowing you to move fluidly later in the game.
Start by activating the elevator from the Executive Office and proceed to Sublevel 10. Once there, power up the Particle Accelerator system and locate all twelve Aetherium shards in the vicinity. This action will cause the Pack-a-Punch to become available.
Obtaining the Gorgofex

Follow these steps to obtain the Gorgofex:
- Navigate to the Mutant Research Lab and examine both static monitors for capital letters that will indicate an element.
- Refer to the periodic table to determine the 3-digit atomic number for the element. If it contains only two digits, prefix it with a zero.
- Input this atomic number into the keypad located in the Mutant Research Test Area to unlock the Bioweapons Lab.
- Inside, fill the cyst with kills from nearby Vermin. Once filled, transport the cyst to the Quantum Computing Core and energize it using yellow spores.
- Carry the charged cyst to Dark Entity Containment and initiate a power surge.
- Engage all four surge panels to summon Uber Klaus.
- Damage its shoulder pads and entice it toward the panel. Once the Forsaken transfer occurs, eliminate Uber Klaus to acquire the Gorgofex.
Within the T1 Research Lab, focus on two monitors for highlighted capital letters: one situated near the periodic chart and the other next to the Mangler. These letters will hint at a corresponding chemical element. Match it with its atomic number, applying a zero in front if it’s a two-digit number, and input the final code into the nearby keypad to gain access to the Bioweapons Lab.
Initiating the Main Story
Now it’s time to dive into the main storyline. Head over to the T1 Mutant Research Lab and interact with the centrifuge.
- Retrieve the Syringe and make your way to T2 Sublevel 10, where you’ll find a floating zombie ensnared in the Particle Accelerator beam.
- Jump into the beam to free the zombie, then interact with it to collect the Blood.
- Return to the centrifuge and place the Syringe back. A Fowler Mangler will spawn as a result.
- Defeat it to obtain a Mutant Injection, which you must scan near the Dark Entity Containment zone to progress to the next lab area.
This is the extent of our progress regarding the main story. We will update this section as we continue to explore further.
Franken Klaus Puzzle
A significant portion of the game is dedicated to constructing Franken Klaus.
- Gather body parts from Kommando Klaus units by shooting off their arms.
- Search for the left and right legs in the T2 Android Assembly. They can be found:
- Behind a door
- On a shelf
- In a scrap pile
- Behind a shattered mirror
- On the floor
- Once you have all four limbs, attach them to the hanging Klaus in T2 Android Assembly.
- Next, lure Uber Klaus into the area and bait its electric attack to hit the hanging body, which will activate Franken Klaus.
- Franken Klaus will first hack a computer in the T2 Teleportation Lab, then a S. A.M. Trial machine, and eventually return to the Teleportation Lab.
- Head to the T1 Quantum Computing Core and break open the metal container using a melee attack with Melee Macchiato.
- Carefully transport the purple brain, as you will be vulnerable while carrying it, to the machine next to Franken Klaus to proceed.
Finding Folder Locations
Across the map, you’ll discover six potential personal items associated with Maxis, each nearer to a folder with a unique date. Only four items will spawn during each match, but here is a compilation of the six folders currently documented:
- Katana located on a desk in T1 Executive Suite
- Wristwatch found on a table in T1 Executive Suite
- Combat Goggles near a lamp in T1 Director’s Office
- BND Badge on a desk in T2 Teleportation Lab or a coffee table in T1 Executive Suite
- Notso’s Collar located on a desk in T2 Teleportation Lab or a coffee table in T1 Director’s Office
- Scarf found on a desk in T1 Director’s Office
Each Maxis item has a unique identifier that varies with each playthrough. When collecting the dates from each folder, sort the item numbers in reverse chronological order (from latest to most ancient) to create a 4-digit code that must be entered into the PC located in T2 Teleportation Lab.
That covers everything we have at this moment. We will ensure to keep this guide updated as we uncover more clues and integrate them into the overall narrative.
