Despite being criticized by BruceDropEmOff for defending Kick amidst allegations from a former employee, streaming star xQc chose to remain silent in his response.
Kick is currently under scrutiny following the resignation of a former employee who made several accusations against the company, alleging an “extremely hostile”work environment.
Despite receiving a $100 million non-exclusive contract from Kick in 2023, xQc continued to support the streaming site during a live stream shortly after.
BruceDropEmOff, a streamer who recently switched from Kick to Twitch, criticized xQc for supporting the platform, referring to him as a “sycophant”and the “darling”of the streaming community.
Specifically, Bruce referenced xQc’s “AP worth $500K,”a high-end Audemars Piguet watch that he flaunted on Twitter nearly one year ago.

“Bruce exclaimed, “Screw you, man, and that stupid watch too!”He added, “I couldn’t care less!”
On June 20, while watching Bruce’s rant on a broadcast, xQc responded by blasting some music and pointing to another luxury watch on his wrist.
Remaining silent, the streamer motioned to his headphones and then to his lips, indicating that he had no need to respond to Bruce’s angry outburst directed towards him.
“Is there anything else you would like to see me react to?”he inquired, closing the clip and checking with his viewers for any additional content suggestions.

xQc’s support of Kick has caused some controversy within the streaming community, especially regarding allegations that the platform offered a lower amount to a streamer fighting cancer, insinuating that she may not have much time left and would want to leave more money for her loved ones.
The viewers immediately associated this statement with Kyedae, a well-known broadcaster who bravely fought against Leukemia in 2023.
While xQc claimed that Kick never made an offer to her, Kyedae would confirm that they did in fact reach out with a number. However, she declined the offer, stating that the platform did not align with her moral standards.
