Fortnite has introduced a delightful new emote inspired by the beloved painter Bob Ross, offering fans a charming way to express their creativity in the game.

In recent times, Fortnite has become synonymous with crossovers, showcasing a variety of franchises that includes prominent names from the worlds of DC and Marvel, often as part of promotional tie-ins for upcoming films. However, the game doesn’t solely feature cinematic characters; it also embraces popular internet memes and pop culture phenomena. From the hilarious Louis Theroux dance to the viral sensation of Skibidi Toilet, Fortnite continues to surprise its audience. Now, players can also enjoy a Bob Ross emote.

Introducing the Bob Ross Emote in Fortnite

On July 24, Fortnite welcomed the Gentle Painting Emote into its virtual store. This fantastic addition allows players to watch their character paint a stunning portrait accompanied by soothing melodies. As an added touch, players can hear Bob Ross deliver one of his most memorable quotes at the conclusion of the emote.

When using the emote, players have the chance to hear one of four delightful audio clips, which include:

  • “Call it finished.”
  • “Certainly glad you could join us today.”
  • “We don’t make mistakes; we have happy accidents.”
  • “We got a happy little tree; it lives right there.”

The versatility of this emote is a standout feature, as it is compatible with any skin currently available in the game. This means even the most iconic characters, such as Kratos, Doom Slayer, and Master Chief, can momentarily set aside their fierce personas to celebrate their artistic inclinations.

To acquire this adorable emote, players can visit the Fortnite store and purchase it for 500 V-Bucks. These V-Bucks can be earned by progressing through the Battle Pass or can be directly purchased from the store. However, players should hurry; the Gentle Painting Emote will be available only until July 28, after which it will be removed and may return at a later date, depending on Epic Games’ plans.
