Suits star set for comeback in Yellowstone 2024 spinoff

After achieving success on streaming, the lead actor of Suits is now gearing up to make a comeback on television in the highly awaited spinoff of Yellowstone, alongside some big names from Hollywood.

Patrick J. Adams portrayed the character of Mike Ross on the show Suits. Mike is a college dropout who possesses an exceptional skill of retaining information due to his photographic memory. Once he reads something, it remains ingrained in his memory forever.

Despite being on the run from the police with a briefcase full of marijuana, the pilot unexpectedly finds himself in an interview with Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), a highly successful lawyer from New York – and from that moment on, everything changes.

After leaving the series during Season 7, alongside Meghan Markle, he made a brief reappearance in the Season 9 finale as the show came to an end. While he has since appeared in numerous TV shows and movies, it can be said that he has not yet found a role as significant as his previous one in Suits… until now.

According to Deadline, three actors – Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell, and Patrick J. Adams – are in talks to join the cast of Taylor Sheridan’s ‘Yellowstone: 2024’ spinoff.

The roles of the characters in the series have not been clarified, and the details of the spinoff’s plot are also unknown.

According to TV Line, the upcoming spinoff of Yellowstone is tentatively called The Madison and is said to center around Stacy Clyburn and her affluent family as they relocate from New York City to Montana following the tragic deaths of her husband and brother-in-law in a plane crash.

This is the same series that originally had Matthew McConaughey set to star, and now features returning cast members Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, and Luke Grimes as their respective characters of Beth Dutton, Rip Wheeler, and Kayce Dutton.

The premiere for the upcoming production is targeted for 2025, following the conclusion of Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2, which is set to kick off later this month.

According to MTV Entertainment Studios’ president Chris McCarthy, the upcoming spinoffs, 1944 and 2024, are set to provide audiences with an exciting and unconventional experience, featuring the captivating and intricate storytelling that has made the franchise a global cultural sensation. He credits the creative genius of Taylor Sheridan for this success.
