The anime is a gripping psychological-thriller-action drama that centers around a high-stakes survival game. It takes place in a world where unexplained deaths have been happening, and a million people in Tokyo are suddenly forced to participate in a survival game controlled by a self-proclaimed “Emperor”through anonymous messages. Every day, a question is presented to the players with one rule: the majority decision results in the death of the entire group.
In order to submit their answers, participants are required to find either a blue postbox or a red laptop. Additionally, they have the opportunity to earn advantages and privileges. The grand prize for the winner of the game is a meeting with the Emperor.
