Tekken 8 ushered in a new era for the iconic franchise. Bandai Namco’s 3D fighting game had a successful release as players dove into everything the game has to offer, including its new story campaign, Arcade Quest mode, and of course, Ranked mode.
And quickly, the developers confirmed that additional characters would arrive a few months after the game’s release. These characters will arrive as paid DLC or as part of the Season Pass.

Alternatively, you can get the DLC by purchasing the Deluxe Edition or Ultimate Edition of the game.
Tekken 8 Season 1 DLC: Confirmed Characters
Eddy Gordo will be the first DLC character for Tekken 8.
Only Eddy Gordo has been confirmed as a Tekken 8 Season 1 DLC character. The Capoeira fighter is a franchise regular and has appeared in every game since Tekken 3. His inclusion in Tekken 8’s roster seems natural given his beginner-friendly nature and unique fighting style. Eddy Gordo will arrive in Tekken 8 sometime during Spring 2024.
Tekken 8 Season 1 DLC: Leaked Characters
Leaks from different sources have provided players with a glimpse of some of the characters coming as part of Tekken 8 Season 1 DLC.
One such leak came in the form of an accidental video on Bandai Namco’s official YouTube channel. This led to speculation of Josie Rizal being a DLC character for Tekken 8.
According to all the leaks, the new upcoming characters are:

- Xiao Meng
- Roger
- Fahkumram
- Lidia Sobieska
- Marduk
