Terrifying “terminator” glitch haunts Pokemon Go players

Pokemon is accustomed to introducing new forms of its many Pocket Monsters, however, a Pokemon Go player recently came across a type of creature that was not intended for anyone to discover.

On Reddit, a screenshot posted by a Pokemon Go player revealed a Ponyta with a surprising metallic appearance. The player’s comment, “Has anyone else seen this?”accompanied the image.

Upon witnessing the metallic Ponyta on the main screen, they immediately tapped it and proceeded to describe the encounter. Despite appearing unusual in the wild, the Pokemon remained in the same state even after they captured it.

Nevertheless, despite the initial strange appearance of the caught Ponyta, the game was restarted and it returned to its usual form. The poster also mentioned that the experience was enjoyable at the time.

Despite the lack of similar experiences mentioned in the comments, numerous other players took the opportunity to share humorous reactions to the glitch.

One person remarked on the metallic appearance of the Pokemon, stating, “I have never seen this Terminator before,”while another person playfully quipped, “Termi-neigh-tor.”

Several comments attempted to uncover the root of the problem, including one that asked, “I haven’t seen this before. Are you saying it appeared like this on the map as well?”The author responded, “Yes, it did. I didn’t take a screenshot, but it looked exactly like that.”

Despite the lack of a definitive answer, a user attempted to offer an explanation for the issue by stating, “It appears that the textures of the 3d model were not properly loaded on your end.”This explanation was given from the perspective of a fan.

Other comments also mentioned the frightening appearance of the Ponyta, with one person even referring to it as “cursed”and another suggesting that it could be the subject of a creepypasta.

It was no surprise that someone had done just that, posting a lengthy comment on Reddit that created a terrifying backstory for the beast, incorporating an “ancient forest”and the legend of the “Chrome Ponyta.”The comment even described the beast’s cry as more of a sensation than a sound.
