In contrast to the previous six episodes, episode 7 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 brought a refreshing change as it focused more on action.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Season 3 Episode 7 Highlights – Hinata Observes Rimuru’s Nation
The seventh episode of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 opens with Rimuru Tempest reflecting on his initial confrontation with Hinata Sakaguchi. He ponders her future actions. Meanwhile, Hinata and her team are shown camping in the Jura forest.
The episode includes a brief flashback, showing how her comrades joined her on the dangerous mission to offer their support. Hinata cautions them about having to face a Demon Lord, but they dismiss her warning and insist on staying by her side, even though she is the one who angered the Demon Lord.
As Hinata arrives at the neighboring nation of the Jura Tempest, the Kingdom of Blumund, the flashback continues. They take note of the kingdom’s flourishing state, similar to that of Engrassia. Hinata and the others become aware of the Demon Lord, Rimuru’s impact on the Kingdom.
During her journey through the streets of Blumund in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 7, Hinata Sakaguchi unexpectedly comes across a ramen shop, which was something she never imagined existing in this world. Excitedly, she rushes to the store and eagerly orders a bowl of Ramen.
Hinata is aware of the significant impact Rimuru has on Blumund’s food culture, which features a variety of Japanese dishes. Not only does she appreciate it, but her Paladin comrades also thoroughly enjoy the new and unfamiliar cuisine.
After satisfying their appetites, Hinata and her companions venture into the Great Forest of Jura, which leads to Jura Tempest. Although known for its dangers to adventurers, the Paladins are pleasantly greeted by the beautiful and intricate road.
As they continue on their journey, they encounter two goblins who greet them as fellow adventurers and educate them on the laws and customs of the nation. Hinata takes in the sights of the kingdom and is impressed by Rimuru’s ability to fulfill his promise of establishing a nation where humans and monsters can peacefully coexist.
During their meeting at night, Hinata informs her comrades that she will attempt to resolve the conflict with Rimuru by apologizing. However, if her efforts are unsuccessful and he insists on a duel, she will agree to it. Nevertheless, she can’t shake off the confusion over Rimuru’s desire to fight her.
Soei Updates Rimuru on Hinata’s Situation as the Seven Days Clergy Persuades Great Paladins to Attack
In episode 7 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3, the location shifts to Rimuru’s castle where Soei informs him that Hinata’s team will be arriving at Tempest in the evening. Benimaru suspects that the leader of the Western Holy Church may be using this opportunity as a distraction to draw attention to herself.
Rimuru acknowledges the possibility and inquires about the perspectives of others. Soei and Benimaru then share their insights on the strategies, expressing concern about the strength of the Paladins. The clergy members further fuel his suspicions by claiming that Rimuru has cast a spell on Hinata, making her obedient to his every command. In order to prove Hinata’s loyalty to Rimuru, they suggest attempting to kill the slime. Renard falls for their deceitful words and continues with his troops.
The Paladin vs. Team Reborn: Hinata and Rimuru Join the Battle
Currently, in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 7, Renard orders his troops to attack the town. However, in a surprise attack, Shion’s Team Reborn ambushed them. This leaves the Crusaders questioning if Hinata had betrayed them.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, Soei updates Rimuru about the ongoing battle. Despite being unaware of the true situation, the slime assumes that Hinata has made the decision to engage in combat. Additionally, he becomes ensnared in the trap laid out by the Seven Days Clergy.
Meanwhile, Hinata is contacted through a magical means by her loyal ally Nicolaus, who reveals to her the hidden involvement of the Three Battlesages in the Falmuth Civil War. He also attempts to caution her about the dangerous Seven Days Clergies, but the call abruptly ends.
In that instant, Hinata notices that Renard is in the woods and quickly makes her way to the spot. Meanwhile, Rimuru Tempest decides to head to the battlefield to assess the situation. This sets the stage for Paladin’s struggle against Shion’s team, as depicted in episode 7 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3.
Despite being attacked by the Crusaders, the goblins’ exceptional regenerative abilities make them significantly stronger. Recognizing a chance for success, Shion decides to send Gobwa and Gobzo as reinforcements. Rimuru happily watches as Shion’s team gains the upper hand in the battle.
Upon encountering Hinata’s team, they are stunned to find the Crusaders in a state of defeat. The head of the Western Holy Church is equally surprised to see Renard and Garde among the ranks. However, her attention is quickly drawn to Rimuru and his squad.
Despite their opposing views, both Hinata and Rimuru sense a strong desire for a duel from each other. As the episode concludes, Rimuru takes notice of Hinata’s presence and they come face to face for the first time in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 7.
