A Pokémon Go player has shared the most effective methods for dealing with Team Rocket’s Giovanni and his impressive Dark Kyogre.

For Persian, the best options are Cobalion with Double Foot + Holy Sword, Lucario with Riposte + Coup d’Main, or Courrousinge with Riposte + Razor-Night. These attacks are chosen to allow the player to quickly launch Charged Attacks, forcing Giovanni to exhaust his Protective Shields.
Regardless of whether Giovanni uses Nidoking, Garchomp, or Rhyperior, the player can use an Ice-type Pokémon to exploit their weaknesses. For this purpose, a Mammoth with Powder Dust + Avalanche, a Kaimorse with Dust Powder + Ice Javelin, or a Leprechaun with Ice Shards + Avalanche will do the trick.
