The Boys Fans Speculate on the Existence of a Secret Supe in Vought

After closely analyzing a particular scene in Episode 4, a select group of viewers of The Boys Season 4 suspect that there may be a hidden supe among the employees of Vought.

The fourth season of The Boys has brought in a group of fresh supes, such as the highly intelligent Sister Sage and the unstable and hazardous Firecracker.

In addition to the well-known supes such as Homelander, Starlight, and Victoria Neuman, it appeared that every individual with superpowers had been introduced.

Nevertheless, there are viewers who are convinced that there may be a hidden supe concealed within the confines of Vought International: Ashley.

According to a Reddit user’s post on the forum for the show “The Boys,”there is a theory that suggests Ashley may have had ulterior motives for being in Homelander’s room. Instead of seeking revenge, it is speculated that she may have also taken some Compound V for herself. This hypothetical scenario was proposed as a possible explanation for her actions.

The fan is mentioning Ashley Barrett, Vought’s CEO in title only, as Homelander had actually given Sister Sage the true company authority in pursuit of his Make America Super Again agenda.

As revenge for her demotion, Ashley left a piece of poop floating in Homelander’s toilet as she left, almost getting away with it. However, her plan was foiled when A-Train snuck into the apartment to steal some Compound V for Hughie and caught her in the act.

Despite Ashley’s gross gag being perceived as a minor prank against the powerful Homelander, fans in the comments started to speculate that she may have been present to acquire some Compound V for her own protection.

One fan suggested, “If I were stuck working for that crazy Homelander and Deep was coming after me, I would do the same thing. It would even out the odds, so if that jerk tries anything, you can take him down.”

“One person commented, “I’ve been eagerly anticipating the arrival of Super Ashley. She must come to the realization that it’s simply too dangerous to be among these crazed individuals without any superpowers to aid her.”

Moreover, another observer highlighted the plausibility of this theory by referencing Ashley’s past involvement with the Seven. They noted, “Considering her turbulent history with the Seven, it’s reasonable to assume that she would seek a backup or advantage in her current situation. Whether she ends up dead or tortured, why not endure momentary discomfort for the possibility of obtaining powers?”

Despite having Sister Sage, Homelander, the Deep, Firecracker, and the upcoming Gen V crossover supes on her side, Ashley is still greatly outnumbered by homicidal god-like figures.

Although Compound V offered her the opportunity to gain powers, Ashley would be taking a significant risk due to its higher fatality rate in adults. This meant there was a real possibility of her dying before experiencing any powers.
