Samsung is working on the One UI 5.1 upgrade as well as monthly security patches for its devices. The One UI 5.1 upgrade has already been applied to the majority of Samsung phones. Two more Samsung phones have received One UI 5.1. The models include the Galaxy A14 5G and the Galaxy M13 5G.
One UI 5.1 is a significant improvement over One UI 5. It is not as large as the One UI 5, but it includes several essential modifications and additions that enhance the One UI 5. The upgrade, along with the Galaxy S23 series, was launched in February 2023. It was then pushed out to many additional Samsung phones.
The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G One UI 5.1 upgrade is now available in Asia. It has the manufacture number A146BXXU1BWC3. The update will be roughly 2GB in size. In India, the Galaxy M13 5G will receive the One UI 5.1 upgrade with build number M136BXXU2CWB3. And it should be accessible in additional locations shortly.
The update improves the Android security patch level on both phones. The Galaxy A14 5G currently has a patch level of March 2023, while the Galaxy M13 5G has a patch level of February 2023. And it will grow when additional updates are released.
In terms of new features, it includes the most of the One UI 5.1 features seen on other Galaxy devices. It offers better Gallery search tools, battery widgets, new modes and routines, and other features.
If you own a Galaxy A14 5G or Galaxy M13 5G and the update is currently rolling out in your location, you will receive it shortly. You may also manually check for updates by navigating to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. When an update is available, it will be displayed here.
