Modern Warfare 3 fans have taken to social media to talk about the new camouflages for the crossover event with The Walking Dead, and they’re not mincing their words.
As MW3’s first season draws to a close, the game has announced its next big crossover event: the introduction of The Walking Dead to the game.
With the characters of Rick and Michonne as in-game skins, players will also be able to unlock new camouflages for the event.
But the community is not happy with the cover-ups it has seen so far and is not holding back from criticizing them on social media.
MW3 Players Slam ‘Boring’ Event Camouflages
A clip was shared on X showing a player using one of the new camouflages arriving with the event.
The skin appears to be based on Lucille, Negan’s famous barbed wire covered baseball bat.

Despite the camouflage being based on something many players may recognize, the response to the camouflage has been less than enthusiastic.
One user responds to the clip with: “I appreciate what they tried to do here, but they didn’t execute it well.»

Other players find the camouflage “ugly”and some even call its design “boring.”
One MW3 fan was quite blunt in his perception of what this camouflage indicates about the game as a whole, saying that it makes sense for a “dead”game.
The clip itself has an odd color, leading some users to wonder what the in-game camouflage will look like with the game’s normal colorization.
However, it’s clear that many in the MW3 community aren’t fans of this new camo and what the rest of the event might bring.
