These Pokémon Go players refuse to complete this “horrible” task

Players of Pokémon Go are so exasperated with Routes that they now refuse to complete their Research missions, calling it a “terrible chore.”

For better or worse, Niantic continues to add new features to Pokémon Go. Whether it’s a new NPC, Routes, Raids or events, there is always something new happening in the famous Pokémon game – but fans are not always happy to see them arrive.

In fact, when Routes and Party Play appeared in Pokémon Go, fans were quick to criticize their implementation, pointing out bugs and simply lambasting the Study missions that came with them. Now, they completely ignore these tasks, calling them “a terrible chore.”

Pokémon Go players are neglecting a key Research mission

“Who else isn’t going to complete these missions,” posted a frustrated Pokémon Go fan, sharing an image of the Road to New Friendships special research. The unchecked task required the player to ‘Exchange a gift with Mateo at the end of a Route’, which rewarded with an incense.

Giving their reason, the user explained: “I have the friends and location to do it, but I just don’t care about Routes or Party Play to do it.”

Other fans chimed in in the comments to agree with the player, with one saying it takes “a total of 100 to complete the research,”explaining how they were “sick of seeing the research and completed it in about a week. It was a terrible chore.”

“I honestly love the Routes and have already completed them,” one fan explained, going on to note that despite the Routes, Party Play “is pretty bad.”

It’s clear that the community is feeling rather disappointed by the new features, and this special research is a summary of their frustrations, especially given the idea that fans think “the rewards are stupid as hell.”After all, what’s the point of committing to something you don’t enjoy for just Incense, 1,000 Stardust, and 1,000 XP?
