Tiffany of Girls’ Generation Suffers Injury in Musical Performance, Leads to Recasting

On September 13th, the production company for the musical “Chicago” officially announced casting changes via their social media platforms.

S&Co. commented, “Due to an injury sustained by actress Tiffany Young during her performance as Roxie, the casting has been revised as follows,” and shared the updated performance schedule.

Performances on September 15th at 2:00 PM and 6:30 PM, as well as on September 18th at 2:00 PM, will now feature Ivy portraying the role of Roxie instead of Tiffany Young. The performance on September 21st at 2:00 PM will see Min Kyung-ah stepping in.

Tiffany Young previously injured her finger during a “Chicago” performance.

Fans expressed their concern upon learning of Tiffany Young’s injury and the subsequent casting changes, leaving comments such as “Wishing you a speedy recovery,” “Get well soon,” and “This is worrying.”

Meanwhile, the 2024 production of “Chicago” began on September 7th and will continue its performances at the D-Cube Art Center until September 29.
