Fortunately, both Grace and Leon can expand their inventory space through specific actions, including the acquisition of unique items. This guide details the steps you can take to boost their carrying capacity.

Expanding Grace’s Inventory

Grace begins her journey with limited inventory space, featuring only eight slots. This design choice promotes strategic resource management, compelling players to utilize available items wisely.

Initially, her inventory is manageable due to a scarcity of items. However, as you progress, you will need to optimize your item management until you access additional space.

The sole method for Grace to expand her inventory is through acquiring Hip Pouches. Throughout the game, players can find three Hip Pouches, each located at specific points in the narrative.

The first Hip Pouch is located in the Rhodes Hill Care Center and can be obtained for 3 Antique Coins within the Parlor room. Players must retrieve the Red Jewel from the Unicorn Trinket Box to unlock this location near the West Wing entrance.

The second Hip Pouch is found in a locked room within the Filing Room. To access it, you need the ID Wristband Level 1, obtainable by advancing through the East Wing of the Care Center.

Lastly, the third Hip Pouch appears late in the game, within the storage container in the ARK section of the storyline. By this point, Grace’s inventory management becomes simpler as there are fewer items to juggle.

Increasing Leon’s Inventory Capacity

Leon begins his adventure with a spacious attaché case, but players can further enhance its capacity. After upgrading the Central Camp in East Raccoon City, the Supply Box will become accessible, functioning as a shop for inventory improvements.

Within the Supply Box, players will find an option labeled Case Upgrade, allowing an increase in the number of inventory slots available for Leon’s attaché case.

Although Leon typically has adequate inventory space, the introduction of new weapons makes space management increasingly critical. Weapons tend to consume a significant number of slots, and it is best to avoid carrying multiple weapons of the same category.

Although Leon lacks a storage container, players can sell unwanted weapons and repurchase them later, albeit with a slight loss of credits.
